For this project, I was tasked with creating a series of Christmas-themed videos to be played on loop inside a Proto hologram box for the Convention Center of Cleveland. The videos needed to be carefully designed in a way that gave off the illusion that they were taking place inside the box structure. I formed the snow globe by texturing a 3D modeled asset of the Cleveland City skyline and combining it with the base of the snow globe. The snowflakes inside the globe were made using a cloner in Cinema 4D, while the snowflakes outside were added in After Effects. The ornament video included a combination of small and large retextured ornament assets, utilizing Cinema 4D’s simulation features to create realistic dropping, piling and falling movements of the ornaments. In addition to the Christmas videos, I also created a rotating cube video promoting the advertisement space available for the Proto hologram box.
